Abel Tasman Aquataxis
More departures, more flexibility, more freedom
Scheduled Sailings Aqua Taxis depart Marahau and Kaiteriteri on a scenic tour to all beaches in the Park, leaving the Aqua Taxi base at 8.00am, 9:00am,10:30am,12:00 noon, 1:30pm and 3.00pm.
One-way fares range from $25 to $45 depending on the distance travelled. The 8.00am, 10:30am 12.00 noon and 3:00pm sailings are seasonal only.
Exclusive Charters get the undivided attention of one of our knowledgeable skippers, for a tailor-made experience of the Abel Tasman National Park.PRICE: $150 for first hour and $100 per hour thereafter for two passengers.
Pack Transport, a service to our passengers that makes tramping the Abel Tasman a breeze! We can shift your packs between huts each day, leaving you to wander and explore unencumbered.PRICE: $8-12 per pack or container per trip, depending on weight.
Free Car Parking: We have a large off road car park at our Marahau base for passengers to leave their cars while in the park. The Aqua Taxi base is only five minutes walk from the southern end of the Abel Tasman track. Cars are out of sight from the road and overlooked by private residence. Secure parking can be arranged.PRICE: Off Road Car Parking: FREE • Secure parking: $5 per night.
Scallop Fishing - Seasonal, 15th July to 14th February For Seafood Lovers! See what comes up in the dredge and take some delicious Tasman Bay scallops home. The trip takes approximately 2 hours and starts at 5pm.PRICE: $60 per person. (Min 5 persons)

Motueka District Museum
Showing Motueka's history to the world
Situated right in the centre of town, the museum is fronted by the towns open meeting place.
It offers a glimpse of Motueka's past with static displays, changing exhibitions and a research facility.
Look over the horticultural and cultural history of this unique area of New Zealand that grows the only commercial hops (used in brewing) and was the centre of New Zealands only commercial tobacco crops.

Join the Taranui for our daily cruise along the Abel Tasman National Park's scenic coastline. We limit the number of passengers so you can walk around the boat and enjoy the space and beauty of the Abel Tasman without feeling cramped.
You'll enjoy the scenery of New Zealand's Abel Tasman National Park and will get to see some of New Zealand's wildlife during your trip. The park now has a marine reserve along part of its coastline and New Zealand fur seals frequent its waters.
We will also see a range of birds, varying from blue penguins, shags (cormorants) to pelagic seabirds.
And sometimes dolphins visit this coastline and come to investigate the boat while it cruises along.
Your day trip ticket includes lunch and refreshments. So pack your swimming costume and come and enjoy a day trip in the Abel Tasman!
